The education of our students is of paramount importance and key to our philosophy as we strive to ensure students reach their full potential through the attainment of excellent qualifications. Our modern, tutor supported, online courses are designed to prepare our students for a career in football and for those wanting to take their education further provide the qualifications needed for university entry.
The BTEC Level 3 in Sport (Football) allows students to develop a broad knowledge of the technical, coaching and business aspects of sport. BTEC Level 3 provides the foundation to allow students to move forward into the many specialist areas of the sport and football industries.
BTEC Level 3 delivers a holistic approach to sports education and is the foundation for a career in football. Top marks on the BTEC Level 3 is worth 168 UCAS points (3 A* at A-Level) for university applications.
Upon completion of their Level 3 BTEC in Sport, we plan to offer our students the option to continue with us through to degree level course in house starting in September 2021.
Beaconsfield Town Academy students are provided with an immersive educational experience. Delivered at our Holloways Park stadium the course includes studying for a Level 3 BTEC, achieving the FA level 1 coaching badge and work experience all delivered within the football club environment.
There is much more to a football club than managers, coaches and players. Below are just a few of the career options within not only football but other sports.
Student Entry Requirements
To be considered for this course, as a minimum you will need 5 GCSE’s, or equivalent at 4 grade and above. Preferably this will include English and Maths, although pathways are available to those that just miss out on a C Grade in these core subjects.
The fees for the 2019 – 2021, 2-year course are £600. This covers the cost of training and match kit and the fee’s for completing the FA Level 1 course. A deposit of £100 is payable upon acceptance of an offer of a place on the Academy program, with the remaining £500 spread over 20 direct debit instalments.

Successful trialists will then be offered a place on the course.
